Robin Becker was born in Hackensack, New Jersey, but left soon after high school. She’s lived in London, Philadelphia, a traveling VW Microbus, Austin, San Francisco, Baton Rouge, Missouri, Arkansas, and now Mankato, Minnesota, where she teaches creative writing, serves as program director of the Creative Writing MFA at Minnesota State University and directs the Good Thunder Reading Series. She enjoys playing guitar, reading, and watching both bad and good television with her husband and cats. She is represented by the Hesperides Literary Agency.
